[edit] Live Score Annotator
More and more music teachers give lessons online via video conferences software like Skype. Such a teacher is the popular flutist Nina Perlove. This hack lets a teacher pick a score on MuseScore.com and starts a lesson for it. The teacher then share the lessons page with his student and can annotate the score to guide the students while they are playing.

[edit] About the hack
An online teacher starts a lesson by connecting with her students on Skype. For example, see this video of Nina Perlove : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j5ZfMpG7O-Y Then the student is playing and the teacher often needs to interrupt and say "Go back to measure 5", or "the 3rd group of notes of measure 10, you should put more emphasis" etc...
The hack solves this issue by letting the teacher creates a private lesson around any score on MuseScore.com. The teacher chooses a public score or authenticate and uses private one at : http://bit.ly/fVNlPl Once the lessons is created, she got a private URL and she can share it with one or many students. Students opens the URL on their laptop or iPad and the teacher can just draw and point out the relevant measure on the score and says "start again from here", "be more enthousiastic on this passage";
