[edit] A different kind of Music Hack Day
The folks at MIDEM have invited Music Hack Day to Cannes to give Midem attendees a taste of what Music Hack Day is all about. Unlike a traditional Music Hack Day where hundreds of hackers gather for the weekend, at Midem hack day, space is extremely limited, so we will only have about 20 or so hackers in attendance. Due to the extremely limited space participation in this hack day is by invitation only. Who was invited? We invited hackers who have built cool hacks at previous Music Hack Days. We tried to make sure that the invitees represent a mivo tv online friv facebook cross-section of the MHD community, including hackers from music companies, non-music companies as well as students and hobbyists. - Bring your hacking tools of choice: laptop, ethernet patch cords, toolbox, arduinos, synths, musical material, your imagination
- We'll supply: power, wireless and ethernet network, hacking space, meals, snacks, stimulation (of the intellectual kind)
- We encourage you to stay overnight. Bring anything you'll need like sleeping bag, pillow, toothbrush!
