[edit] About the Hack

Soundtastic is all about giving users an awesome music experience. It implements an intelligent music recommendation/discovery engine, that identifies what characteristics of music you are interested in. In addition, we pull in metadata about each song and display them in Popup-Video style captions.

[edit] What APIs, tools or kit did you use?

Mainly EchoNest, also used Rovi and Rdio API for song data.
